Originally formed in Byron Bay and now based in Berlin, The Dharma Chain continue to develop their distinctive blend of psychedelic rock, shoegaze and hypnotic post-punk on their second album, "Some Kind Of Pure State".

Built around layers of swirling guitars, reverb-drenched vocals and driving rhythms, the band's sound balances dreamy atmospheres with darker, more industrial undercurrents. Rather than relying on a single frontperson, vocals and guitars are shared between members, creating a rich, constantly shifting wall of sound that gives the album its unique character.

Following extensive touring across Europe and appearances at festivals including SXSW, Fusion and Desertfest, The Dharma Chain sound confident and fully formed here. The songs move effortlessly between hazy psychedelia, motorik grooves and expansive guitar-driven passages, resulting in an album that feels immersive from start to finish.
