French garage veterans Les Playboys are back with another blast of fuzz, organ and reverb! Around since the early '80s and true godfathers of the French neo-'60s garage scene, the Nice outfit haven't suddenly discovered maturity on "Rien Ne Va Plus" - thankfully. Instead they dive straight back into the French beat sound they know and love, with snarling fuzz guitar, swirling organ and plenty of that wonderfully authentic '60s club atmosphere.

Recorded on the French Riviera by British engineer Andy Rose and mastered by François Terrazzoni at Parelies Studios, the album features twelve Playboys originals, including two instrumentals, plus covers of Les Problèmes' "Je Ne Vois Rien" and Les Sparks' "Rien N'a D'Importance". The title track features lyrics by Jean-William Thoury. French beat, garage and freakbeat from guys who've been doing the real thing for more than four bloody decades!
