Recorded at the legendary Max's Kansas City on July 18, 1980, just weeks before Alan Vega released his first solo LP, this previously unheard live set catches the Suicide man right at the point where rockabilly, blues, primitive electronics and pure bloody confrontation all collided.

Vega is joined by young Texas guitarist Phil Hawk, throwing razor-wire guitar against Vega's tapes, noise, howls and hollers across seven tracks. Forget a nice polished live album - the crowd, screams, whistles and general chaos are all part of the deal here. Dug out of the Alan Vega archives by Liz Lamere and Jared Artaud and remastered from the original live recordings by Josh Bonati, this is Vega raw, wired and gloriously untamed at the dawn of his solo career.
