Former NY Loose frontwoman Brijitte West is back with a brand-new album - and she's clearly not interested in growing old quietly! Recorded in Italy with an all-Italian band including Rats guitarist/singer Wilko Zanni and Lester Greenowski, "Brijitte West And The Greenowskis" delivers 14 tracks of swaggering punk'n'roll, garage and glam with plenty of that old Lower East Side dirt still under its fingernails.

There's a strong connection to West's NY Loose days throughout. "My Lower East Side" looks back at the fiercely competitive New York club scene, while "Nobody Won" tackles the band's difficult final years and the scars left by the music business. Elsewhere things get more personal on "Sorry I've Been A Stranger" and "Don't Hurt Yourself". But this certainly isn't just Brijitte looking backwards - songs like "Doin' Alright" make it pretty damn clear she's still here and still rocking.
