Paul Johnson steps out front with Electric Johnson, bringing decades of garage rock'n'roll experience to "Magic Button". Known from The Master Plan and Waxing Poetics as well as his work at NYC's Compactor Studio, where he recorded and produced bands including The Fleshtones and The Candy Snatchers, Johnson certainly knows his way around raw, guitar-driven rock'n'roll.

"Magic Button" draws on garage rock, power pop and straight-ahead rock'n'roll, with crunchy guitars, strong hooks and the kind of unfussy production that suits the songs perfectly.
