Twin Temple return with their most ambitious album yet, taking their unmistakable blend of vintage rock'n'roll, soul and dark theatricality into considerably grander territory. "Doomed Lovers" was born during a difficult period for the band and is described as their most personal and emotionally revealing record to date.

Produced by Shooter Jennings at the legendary Sunset Sound in Hollywood, the album stays true to Twin Temple's love of classic analogue recording while dramatically expanding their sound. A 37-piece orchestra adds sweeping strings and cinematic arrangements to the band's familiar early rock'n'roll foundations, giving the songs a rich, widescreen atmosphere without losing their underlying bite.

Dark romance, old-school glamour and devilish rock'n'roll remain firmly in place, but "Doomed Lovers" sounds like Twin Temple aiming for something bigger - lush, dramatic and unapologetically over the top.
