One of the key names of early Spanish synth-punk and technopop, Aviador Dro brought together primitive electronics, punk attitude and a fascination with science fiction in a way that still sounds wonderfully odd today.

This release collects the band's first two singles together with two rare 1980 tracks that never appeared as standalone singles, presented as on the original 1983 mini-LP and retaining the artwork from the original releases. Cold synths, rigid rhythms and catchy, mechanical melodies place the band somewhere between Kraftwerk, Devo and The Residents - but with a distinctly Spanish character.

Long unavailable, this is a welcome return for one of the strangest and most influential corners of Spain's early-'80s underground.
