Before alternative rock became a multi-million-dollar business, DINOSAUR JR. were busy making an almighty racket in Amherst, Massachusetts! Originally released in 1987, "You're Living All Over Me" is the band's second album and one of those records that helped change the course of American underground rock. J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph somehow managed to combine enormous walls of distorted guitar noise with fragile, almost painfully beautiful melodies, and the result still sounds absolutely magnificent nearly four decades later!

From the opening blast of "Little Fury Things" through the glorious guitar abuse of "Kracked" and "Sludgefeast" to the wonderfully twisted "The Lung", this album is packed with songs that helped lay the foundations for everything from grunge to 90s indie rock. Mascis lets his guitar scream, howl and occasionally threaten to fall apart completely, while Barlow and Murph hold the whole glorious mess together. And underneath all that noise? Some seriously brilliant songwriting!

An essential piece of American indie rock history, now available again on RANDOM COLOURED VINYL through Jagjaguwar. If you've somehow managed to survive this long without a copy, here's a perfectly good excuse to fix that. LOUD, MESSY AND ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL!
