A superb collection of singles from one of the UK's most entertaining and underrated first-wave punk bands.

Formed in Burnley in 1978, Notsensibles stood apart from many of their contemporaries by combining fast, catchy punk rock with sharp humour and a healthy refusal to take themselves too seriously. While other bands focused on anger and politics, Notsensibles delivered witty, satirical songs packed with infectious melodies and pure DIY spirit.

The band's best-known anthem, "(I'm In Love With) Margaret Thatcher", became one of the great cult singles of the UK punk era, reaching No. 2 on the UK Indie Chart in 1980 and later enjoying renewed attention through *The Iron Lady*. Alongside classics such as "Death To Disco", these recordings perfectly capture the raw energy and irreverent humour that made the band such favourites on the northern English punk scene.
