Twin Temple's debut album returns on translucent purple vinyl, bringing back the record that introduced their wonderfully unlikely combination of vintage doo-wop, girl-group pop and unapologetic Satanic imagery.

Musically, the duo digs deep into the sounds of the late '50s and early '60s - dramatic female vocals, handclaps, piano, saxophone and sweet melodies that could easily have escaped from an old jukebox. The lyrics, however, take things somewhere altogether different, creating the contrast that has become Twin Temple's unmistakable trademark.

Recorded live to analogue tape in just two days using traditional techniques, the album has the warm, immediate feel of the records that inspired it. Classic doo-wop and rock'n'roll given a deliciously blasphemous twist - still the perfect introduction to Twin Temple.
