After nearly ten years of silence, Useless Eaters return with "Music For Clout" - and they don't sound particularly pleased with what happened while they were away. Ten tracks of raw, confrontational punk, buried in tape hiss and pushed hard enough to make everything feel slightly unstable.

This isn't nostalgic garage punk. The rhythms pulse and pound, guitars grind away and the songs attack with a nervous, repetitive intensity. Lyrically, the record takes aim at self-promotion, online validation and the increasingly strange relationship between artists, their work and the digital world around them.

Raw, tense and deliberately abrasive, "Music For Clout" sounds less like a comeback and more like Useless Eaters kicking the door back open. Ten tracks, no unnecessary decoration and very little interest in making anyone comfortable.
