Recorded live at Paris' legendary Bataclan in late 1977, "Vive La Revolution" captures the Heartbreakers at the end of their original, short-lived but hugely influential career. Having spent most of the year in London recording the classic "L.A.M.F." and becoming key figures of the emerging punk scene, this concert would prove to be the band's final European performance before their eventual reunions years later.

By this point Jerry Nolan had already left the group, with future Clash drummer Terry Chimes taking over behind the kit, while Johnny Thunders and Walter Lure delivered the raw, swaggering guitar attack that made the Heartbreakers one of punk rock's defining bands. Loud, loose and gloriously unpredictable, the performance perfectly captures the spirit of New York punk at its most dangerous.

Originally recorded by Skydog Records founder Marc Zermati as the soundtrack to an unreleased film, this long-unavailable recording returns newly remastered on limited red vinyl with revised artwork. An essential live document from one of punk rock's most legendary bands.
