Originally released in 1969, "Philosophy Of The World" is one of the most unusual and debated albums in rock history.

Recorded by sisters Dot, Betty and Helen Wiggin from rural New Hampshire, the album combines simple garage rock, folk and pop influences with a completely unique approach to rhythm, melody and song structure. What was initially dismissed by many listeners later became a cult classic, admired by musicians and collectors for its honesty, innocence and total disregard for conventional rules.

Over the decades, the album gained legendary status through support from artists such as Frank Zappa, NRBQ and Kurt Cobain, while original copies became some of the most sought-after records in underground rock collecting.

Whether heard as outsider art, primitive garage pop or simply one of the most distinctive records ever made, "Philosophy Of The World" remains a fascinating and unforgettable listening experience. This edition features newly remastered audio, expanded artwork, a gatefold sleeve, rare photos and liner notes by Lenny Kaye.
