Label: J-Beck! This bowl-headed bunch of miscreants came from Corpus Christi, Texas and released this punk rock growler in 1966. A strong Stones influenced pounder with snappy guitar breaks and a brick-through-a-glass-window version of the Kinks classic on the flip make this an genuine 2 sider rather than just a sales pitch. Originally released on the legendary J-Beck label - long considered to be a mark of high quality - and reproduced here as such. It was later released on Mercury but this has the original glow. Comped many times but notably on Pebbles!
