Recorded in 1965 on the peak of the British Invasion, this LP is a true example of US Teensound Excellent Mersey Type group. These Sharp Kids looked to Merseybeat rather than Mick Jagger for inspiration Excellent lead vocals, plaintive three-part harmonies and stripped down, slightly reverbed instrumentation Amazing in its Beatle-like classiness and talent. Mid-Sixties garage beat album. Very UK Beat influenced with a big flavour of Everly Brothers. Nice clean harmonies and guitar picking. Beautiful masterpiece by these lads from Freeport, Illinois USA, originaly released in April 1965.
