When the rhythm of Rock and Roll crossed the Mexican border in 1955 it wasnt through young bands but by experienced musicians used to play anything new coming from the other side of Rio Grande. In the case of Rock and Roll, this gave birth to various ways of understanding and playing it; some of them different to the original and others loyal to it, but with a Latin flavor.
