In early-2000s Detroit, just as the White Stripes and others were making headlines, there was one band simmering just below the surface with a sound more dangerous, more soulful, more real: BOGUE.
Formed in the heart of the Cass Corridor, Bogue delivered a feral blend of punk, soul and swampy blues with the fire of a band that had everything to prove. Their only recordings - cut in 2002 at Ghetto Recorders with no budget and zero time - captured them in the heat of it all: ragged, wild, loud... and unforgettable.
Now, over two decades later, that long-lost recording has been remastered by Jim Diamond and finally released as it was always meant to be heard. How'd You Feel About Talkin' to Me? is more than a record - it's a resurrection.
First-ever official release of Bogue's 2002 recordings
