Holy deep-funk obscurity! Here's a seriously rare little monster straight outta Dallas, Texas! THE SOUL SEVEN were a group of scholarship students at Bishop College who managed to leave behind one hell of a collectible 45 back in 1969. Now Munster Records brings this elusive slice of American funk history back to the turntables, and it's about bloody time!

Featuring two irresistible deep-funk cuts, "Mr. Chicken" and "The Cissy's Thang", this is exactly the kind of obscure late-'60s single that keeps dedicated funk collectors and adventurous DJs digging through dusty record boxes. No big-name stars, no commercial polish, just a fascinating piece of the American underground soul and funk scene, recorded by a group of young musicians who clearly had their ears tuned to the exciting sounds of the era.

Originally released in 1969 and now rescued from obscurity by Munster Records, this double-sided rarity deserves a place in any serious collection of vintage funk, deep soul and forgotten dancefloor treasures. Get down!
