Detroit singer Ronnie McNeir started his album career in Los Angeles under the auspices of Motown's Mickey Stevenson. His eponymous first LP on RCA featured several gems as did a whole LP that Stevenson produced on McNeir around the same time; it has recently been issued on Kent at last. 'My Day Will Come' is one of the highlights, and epitomizes his emotion-filled songwriting and sensitive delivery - not to mention his playing of most of the instrumentation.
