Straight outta Peoria, Illinois, and straight into the hearts of 60s garage punk maniacs! ORANGE ROOFTOPS were a short-lived but seriously dedicated bunch of fuzz-loving troublemakers, featuring former members of 90s garage punks 13 FRIGHTENED GIRLS alongside guitarist Jason Eaton. Between 2010 and 2014, these guys spent their time digging deep into the wildest corners of the 60s garage underground, and in 2012 they recorded fourteen tracks in their rehearsal space, affectionately known as the Batcave. Now, thanks to Greece's Sunnyboy66 Records, those long-buried recordings finally get the vinyl treatment!

And there's a rather tasty LYRES connection here, too! None other than Jeff Conolly recruited the band to back him as THE ORANGE LYRES at the 2013 Firecracker 500 Festival, while members T.J. O'Brien and Jeff Gregory later toured with the LYRES themselves. No wonder these guys knew their way around a proper garage stomper! Alongside their own moody, minor-key originals, you'll find reworked nuggets from THE DOVERS, THE KEGGS, THE RHYTHMS, THE SAVAGES, THE GROUPIES, THE HYSTERICS and THE BLONDE BOMBER. Fuzz guitars, primitive rhythms and plenty of that glorious mid-60s attitude – exactly the sort of stuff we like around here!

Fourteen tracks of genuine underground garage rock, recorded back when the band was sharing stages with THE OBLIVIANS, PAUL COLLINS BEAT and GONN. No fashionable retro nonsense, just four guys who clearly had the 60s garage bug running through their veins. Limited to 300 copies worldwide on heavyweight black vinyl. GARAGE PUNK HEAVEN!
