Twisted Teens are back with their third album of 2026, and once again Caspian Halliwell and RJ Santos don't give a damn about polishing the rough edges. "The holy cross tigers" is another gloriously ragged mix of lo-fi rock'n'roll, blues, folk and punk, with that warm, blown-out feel that has become their trademark.

This time heartbreak, busted relationships, longing and shitty friends provide the fuel, but don't expect some miserable cry-in-your-beer affair. These songs are raw, catchy, strange and full of life, sounding like two guys doing exactly what they want without worrying too much about anybody else's rules.
